What it does
Production Type offers retail and custom typefaces, fonts-in-use examples and curated font playlists. The tester controls style, size and tracking. Paid licences identify the end user and permitted uses, with annual or permanent duration specified in the order.
Explore playlists such as Fonts for fashion, Fonts for the silver screen and Museum exhibitions & identity fonts. The homepage also links fonts from finished projects through Add font to cart and Add font to playlist. In the tester, Font Style, Font Size and Font Tracking change the preview.
Trial licensing permits private testing and layout proposals. Publishing the result, including a noncommercial project, requires a non-trial licence. When purchasing for a client, name the actual end user; third-party work is handled through the relevant addendum.
Duration is set in the invoice. The agreement defaults to a one-year renewable term unless another duration is specified, and also provides for permanent licences. Desktop, Web, Social Media and Mobile App are separate coverage categories.
