What it does

Productsup brings supplier product data into a common structure, enriches it and distributes versions for different commerce channels. Reusable rules handle bulk changes, while logs and process controls help teams investigate errors. Commercial access is arranged through a quote.

A retailer receiving different supplier spreadsheets needs a consistent internal catalog. Productsup maps those incoming attributes to the retailer's requirements and applies reusable rule boxes. Bulk enrichment can adapt text or product images for a destination.

Review automatic mappings before applying them

Open Dataflow and choose Automap connections. Select the stages to connect, then choose direct, dictionary or predicted matching. Review the suggested connections and deselect unsuitable ones before Apply and finish. Automapper leaves existing connections alone.

The confirmation offers to save the current Dataflow as a version before applying changes. Choose Yes if you want a point to restore. You can also save a named version under Versions > Save Dataflow as New Version. Restoring an older version overwrites the current Dataflow, so preserve recent work first.

Activity logs and version history help trace discrepancies. Error alerts and process cancellation provide another opportunity to stop incomplete supplier data before further distribution.

Pricing and user access

Request a tailored pricing offer for your organization. Specify the catalog, destinations and operating needs you want covered.

Users need Productsup credentials or the organization's configured single sign-on. An account created automatically through sign-on still needs an administrator to grant access to projects and sites.

Strengths

  • Reusable rules help normalize different supplier formats
  • Mapping suggestions can be reviewed before a saved version is replaced

Watch out for

  • Restoring an older Dataflow version overwrites the current configuration
  • New sign-on users need separate project and site permissions

Best for

  • Retailers and distributors standardizing supplier data for several markets
