What it does
Promptzy is a native macOS app for managing AI skills, prompts, and custom instructions. It syncs skills between Claude, Cursor, OpenClaw, and other AI tools, and shows sync status and conflicts so you can pick a source of truth. Tools include a global shortcut, a Spotlight-style launcher, dynamic tokens, collections and tags, per-prompt hotkeys, and a Markdown editor. Skills are stored as local Markdown files. The free plan covers up to 10 skills or prompts, 1 app sync connector, and 1 collection. Pro is a $5 one-time purchase. The site lists macOS 12 or later on Apple Silicon and no account required.
The free plan includes sync management, dynamic date and time tokens, 10 role-based starter prompts, unlimited tags, the Cmd+Shift+P shortcut, auto-paste, the Spotlight launcher, Markdown storage, dark and light themes, fuzzy search, and the Markdown editor. Pro adds unlimited skills, prompts, collections with nesting, app sync connectors, clipboard placeholders, per-prompt global shortcuts, and iCloud Sync across Macs. The site lists Claude, Cursor, OpenClaw, VS Code, Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Windsurf, and Perplexity among tools it can sync with. A GitHub release link points to the latest Promptzy.dmg download. The site says prompts and skills stay on the Mac, with no cloud accounts, tracking, or telemetry, and that optional iCloud Sync uses the user's own iCloud Drive. The FAQ covers organization, multi-directional sync, file format, and dynamic tokens. A blog hosts prompt guides and a setup guide for connecting Promptzy with Claude and Cursor.
