What it does

FontExpert previews and manages installed and uninstalled fonts on Windows. It provides an indexed library, tags, groups, duplicate searches, font-property inspection and Adobe missing-font plug-ins.

Attach local or network font folders under My Collections to index them, then use Quick Search to find a font by name. The Library organizes fonts into logical folders without moving the original collection. Groups can hold files or links and activate or deactivate a project’s fonts together.

Preview an uninstalled font as a paragraph or character map, with size and color controls. The property view exposes details such as foundry, metrics and kerning-pair counts, helping distinguish similarly named versions. Reports can print character maps or font samples, and HTML Web Album exports use font images.

FontExpert is Windows software with a full-function 30-day trial. A purchased licence is delivered by email as a key. The order page distinguishes one computer per company licence from two computers for a home user; upgrades from older versions are sold separately.
