What it does
Quadratic is a spreadsheet that connects to databases, files and business tools. You can ask questions in plain English and the AI writes formulas, Python, SQL or JavaScript for you. Results stay in the sheet, where you can open and edit any cell to check the work. It imports CSV, Excel, Parquet and PDF files and connects to sources such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake and BigQuery.
The site lists native connections to PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, BigQuery, Supabase, CockroachDB, MariaDB and Neon, plus connectors for QuickBooks, Google Analytics, Mixpanel and Plaid. Sheets can refresh on a schedule. The AI agent can run imports, cleanup, joins and recurring reports, and every change lands in the sheet for review. Quadratic supports the Model Context Protocol so external agents can read and write cells, and it offers an API for triggering AI runs and reading or writing cells. The company states it handles datasets up to 100 million rows and that it is SOC 2 and HIPAA certified. A free start, team plans, documentation and demo booking are available.
