What it does
Qualaroo collects website and in-app feedback through targeted Nudges, surveys and branching questions. Its current platform also presents heatmaps and session recordings alongside feedback.
In the dashboard, choose INSTALL CODE beside your domain, then copy the JavaScript into the website or use Google Tag Manager. Create a Nudge with the question and answer types you need. Targeting controls its location, audience, timing and repeat frequency; the design settings change colors, placement and branding.
Activate the survey from the editor or dashboard. Responses appear in Reporting, with CSV export by response or question. When changing a live study, Qualaroo recommends deactivating it and using MORE > Clone before editing, so the revised questions have a separate result set.
A free account includes a 50-response allowance, 500 email sends and 10,000 tracked pageviews. Paid plans offer larger email and pageview allowances. A tracked pageview is counted when a Nudge appears; a page visit with no Nudge does not consume that allowance.
Strengths
- Branching can send different answers to different follow-up questions.
- Surveys are anonymous by default; identifying respondents is a separate configuration.
Watch out for
- The free account caps responses, email sends and tracked pageviews.
Best for
- Teams studying website or app feedback in context
