What it does

Quinyx is a workforce-management platform for frontline and shift-based organizations. It combines scheduling, time and attendance, forecasting, operational analysis and employee communication across teams and locations.

Quinyx connects frontline schedules with demand, availability, skills and labor-cost views. For a retailer with several stores, start with required coverage at each location, then review the staffing plan against the budget.

In the Schedule view, the Violations panel checks the visible shifts against configured rules. Choose the period and units, open a flagged employee and shift, make the change and save. It reviews up to 100 employees at a time and does not itself block publication. To release a rolled-out schedule, open the three-dot menu, select Publish schedule and set the date through which staff should see it.

Employees sign in to the mobile app to view shifts and request changes. To swap, select a shift, choose Swap shift and the colleague's date, then submit the request. The swap board tracks responses. Managers approve these requests in the web Schedule notifications, including from a phone browser; that approval is not in the app's Manager tab.

After working, employees can check their punched hours in Attest and add a comment when a time is wrong. This helps keep planned coverage and actual attendance connected.

Quinyx prices a tailored workforce package. Its published German terms describe subscriptions with user or location quantities and fees set in the order; confirm the package and terms for your own region.

Strengths

  • Connects scheduling with demand, attendance and labor-cost views.
  • Includes employee communication and shift-swap workflows within the same platform.

Watch out for

  • The Violations panel reviews at most 100 employees at once and does not itself stop publication.
  • Manager approval of shift swaps uses the web interface rather than the mobile app's Manager tab.

Best for

  • Multi-location organizations coordinating frontline coverage and reviewing planned versus worked staffing
