What it does
RaiPlay offers Italian and international series, films, live television, documentaries, children's programmes and Rai archive material.
Use Teche Rai for older programmes or browse current shows and live channels. A free Rai account adds saved lists and resume viewing. Create it on the website or mobile device, then confirm the email within 48 hours; the FAQ says registration cannot be completed on a smart TV and is unavailable to children under 14.
For offline viewing, use the mobile app and look for an eligible title. Downloads depend on the rights for that programme. A visible film or archive entry does not establish that it can be downloaded or watched from every country.
Watch out for
- Mobile downloads are limited to programmes with the required rights.
