What it does
Receipt Bot extracts data from receipts, invoices and bank statements for review and export to accounting systems or spreadsheet files. Bookkeepers can collect documents through the web app, mobile capture or email, then correct the extracted fields. Paid plans use processing credits, with a 14-day trial containing 30 credits.
From a PDF statement to an import file
Receipt Bot collects bookkeeping documents through its web application, mobile capture, email inbox or connected workflows. Extraction turns receipts, invoices and PDF bank statements into structured records. Staff review the data before it becomes part of the books.
For statements, open Bank & Card Statements and use a document's icon to inspect its extracted transactions. Select Edit, correct the fields and save. Report a mistake sends an extraction problem to Receipt Bot for review.
Download the result as Excel, CSV or an accounting import format such as OFX, QIF or QBO. More Formats exposes additional choices and custom CSV layouts. Bulk downloads combine up to 200 statements in one file for each account; different accounts produce separate files. Invoice exports can go directly to supported accounting software, but bank statements must be downloaded and imported manually.
Credits and monthly costs
The GBP pricing option excludes VAT:
| Plan | Monthly price | Included credits |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | £7 | 45 |
| Standard | £21 | 150 |
| Pro | £63 | 510 |
| Premium | £189 | 1,800 |
| Elite | £300 | 3,000 |
Enterprise is quoted separately. Invoice-header extraction uses one credit; line-item extraction uses two credits per page, and bank statements use three per page. Unused credits can roll over for six months while a paid subscription stays active.
The 14-day trial includes 30 credits and needs no card. For a one-off backlog, create an account, add the business and upload its documents; Subscription & Billing shows the estimated credits required. Download the results before cancelling. Cancellation expires unused credits, and the extraction service currently supports English-language documents.
