What it does
ReplaceMagic scans document collections and replaces outdated links or text after folder changes, server moves and document migrations.
Scan the document collection, filter the findings and export CSV or Excel results before defining old and new strings. Replacement pairs can use regular expressions and target areas such as hyperlinks, headers or body text. Preview reports intended changes without writing them; execute only after checking the plan, then rescan and verify the changed documents. Automatic backup is available for local files, but native SharePoint mode requires its version history instead. Choose the edition by format: Total excludes plain TXT, CSV, HTML and LNK, which Ultimate includes. Windows and .NET Framework 4.8 are required. Licences are perpetual one-time purchases. The 30-day replacement trial processes around 10% of scanned documents with manual pairs, or the first 100 documents with SmartMapper; scanning has no time or document-count limit.
