What it does
Respondent recruits consumers, professionals and specialists for interviews, usability studies, concept tests and other research. It combines audience targeting, editable screeners, participant checks, scheduling and incentive payments, with AI moderation and synthesis included in its recruitment pricing.
Describe the audience and what you are testing, then edit the screener drafted for the study. Respondent matches candidates against targeting criteria and gives researchers profiles, screener responses, verification badges and participation history to review. Scheduling, reminders and incentive payouts follow in the same platform. Interviews and usability tests can run with its AI moderator, with your own moderator or through an external tool.
Recruitment is charged per completed session. At the published pay-as-you-go rates, moderated consumer sessions cost USD 40 and professional sessions USD 80. Unmoderated rates are USD 25 and USD 40 respectively. Participant incentives are additional: you set the amount, fund it and Respondent distributes payment through Tremendous. Failed screeners, no-shows and sessions abandoned partway through are not charged as completed recruitment.
Annual spending commitments lower the session rate and can be used across studies and audiences. The included platform tools cover recording, AI synthesis, reporting and highlight-reel exports. Create a researcher account to set up a project; API access is arranged with sales. Surveys and diary studies currently use your own research tool, while some built-in moderation options for those methods are still marked as coming soon.
