What it does
Reuters Connect brings Reuters and partner photographs, footage and other editorial media into one platform. Accounts can save searches and organise candidate assets in Collections.
Single Asset Licensing lets you buy pictures and Reuters archive videos more than 30 days old by credit card or invoice. Subscriptions provide broader formats and access to most partner material, with options arranged around the organisation’s needs.
The provider name and any Restrictions label belong to the individual asset, including partner footage. Under the transactional terms, previews are for internal evaluation for 30 days and cannot appear in a final public edit. Licensed material is editorial-only unless Reuters agrees otherwise in writing, and the default is one publication or broadcast unless the order grants more. These terms make the selected use, period and platform part of the purchase decision.
Strengths
- Collections and saved searches support continuing editorial research.
- Individual licensing is available without committing to a subscription.
Watch out for
- Most partner material requires a subscription.
- Transactional previews cannot be used in a published production.
Best for
