What it does
RFI's English site publishes news, interviews, features and audio on France, Europe, Africa and international developments.
African reporting includes the conflict between environmental rules and access to drinking water in Guinea. The mix of reported local consequences and audio makes RFI useful when a French or Francophone policy story needs voices and context beyond its announcement. Spotlight on France and Spotlight on Africa provide named podcast routes. The archive covers articles, podcasts and videos since 2009, useful when a current report needs earlier context.
