What it does

RHB offers browser and mobile access to balances, payments and account activity in Malaysia. Its guides explain digital registration and Secure Plus transaction approval on an authorised device. Basic Savings provides a no-annual-fee card option, alongside an RM8 yearly option and separate service charges.

An online payment still needs the registered device

A transaction started in RHB Online Banking can require approval through Secure Plus in the mobile app. Open the push notification to approve or reject it. If the notification does not arrive, use Services > Secure Plus on the app’s pre-login screen.

This makes device registration part of getting ready to transact. Install RHB Mobile Banking and choose Register Now. Enter an eligible debit-card, credit-card or loan-account number, complete the requested details and create the login credentials and secure word. Link the phone, then activate Secure Plus at an RHB ATM within 30 days. A 12-hour waiting period follows activation before online transactions become available.

Basic Savings and service charges

RHB Basic Savings is available to Malaysian citizens and permanent residents aged 18 or older, including joint applicants. Monthly statements are complimentary. The account offers a card option without an annual fee, or an RM8 annual option.

The service schedule lists no charge for immediate, future-dated or recurring instant transfers through internet banking. A foreign telegraphic transfer from a current or savings account through RHB Online Banking costs RM20, with possible charges from other banks. A replacement basic-account card costs RM12 when lost, stolen, damaged or needed after a forgotten PIN.

The digital guide library also covers favourite accounts, temporary card locks, transaction limits, service requests and branch appointments. These tasks have separate guides, so use the one matching the account action you need.
