What it does
RightFont is a Mac font manager for local folders, Google Fonts and team libraries. It provides previews, tags, font sets and filters, and can activate or apply fonts in supported design applications. The app has a 15-day trial and uses a one-time licence purchase.
RightFont connects browsing with applying a choice to a document. Select text or a text layer in a supported application, switch to RightFont and use Apply Font. The app activates the chosen font if necessary.
Support for missing-font activation and one-click font changing is listed separately. For example, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign appear in both groups, but you should match the relevant operation to your application before choosing a workflow. Supported font formats include OpenType, TrueType, TrueType Collections, WOFF web fonts and PostScript Type 1.
A purchase includes one year of major and minor updates. A licence can be transferred to another Mac, but activation on the new device ends its use on the previous one. Additional seats and later upgrades are handled through License Manager. RightFont requires macOS 11 or newer.
