What it does
Rillet combines a general ledger, revenue recognition, multi-entity accounting and close management. Connected finance systems feed the books, while approval rules control which entries can post. Finance teams can trace reporting figures to transactions and correct account or department coding across a selected group of entries.
Rillet's ledger is the foundation for its revenue, close and reporting tools. Native integrations bring data from the surrounding finance stack into that record. Aura adds assistance with questions about the books, proposed accounting work and exception review.
Decide which entries need approval
Journal-entry rules can use amount, currency, origin, department or subsidiary. Combine conditions and assign a named reviewer or role. Rules are checked in order, with the first match deciding the approver; a matching entry stays off the ledger until approved.
The controls cover manually entered, system-generated and AI-drafted journals. For example, a team can route large manual revenue adjustments to its controller instead of depending on someone to remember the policy.
Correct several transactions together
Open Close Management > Transaction Lines, choose the search criteria and select Run Query. Select the relevant lines, choose Reclassify, set the new account or field values in the side panel and confirm.
This works with manual journals, bills, charges, reimbursements and vendor credits. Select all applies to the visible page, up to 100 lines, so inspect the selection before applying a broad correction.
Reporting keeps a route back to the underlying detail. Click a cash-flow statement value to inspect its transactions. Income-statement and balance-sheet drill-downs also support date filters, and report exports carry the selected detail.
Access and implementation
Rillet is delivered through the browser and replaces the existing accounting system. Pricing is quoted according to features and business complexity rather than revenue or seat count. The company describes implementation as a four-to-six-week process, depending on complexity and the history being migrated.
The service agreement allows an invited evaluation or pilot with its duration specified in the order. Ongoing access is paid; the scope, fees and any additional modules are set out in that order. Customer usernames and passwords are required to use the platform.
