What it does

Rize is a desktop app for macOS and Windows that tracks work in the background and tags time to clients, projects and tasks. It produces utilization, burn, margin and profitability reports by client, plus automatic client reports and capacity views. Rize states that it reads app name, window title and URL by default, and does not take screenshots or log keystrokes. A free trial is offered, and a paid plan price of $12.99/mo is shown on the demo page.

Teams of 20 or more can book a $500 pilot that covers installation, client import, team invites and a first client report. Demos run about 25 minutes. Integrations listed include ClickUp, Asana, Linear, Google Calendar, Outlook, Slack, QuickBooks and Zapier, along with a GraphQL API, MCP server and webhooks. Time can be exported to CSV. Clients and projects can be imported from ClickUp or a CSV file. Docs cover setup, tagging accuracy, privacy, billing and migrations. The product is desktop only, not mobile.
