What it does

RocketX brings centralized exchanges, on-chain exchanges and bridges into one crypto conversion interface. You can compare routes or use its API to add swaps to an application. Ordinary swaps do not require a RocketX account, but provider checks and geographic restrictions still apply.

Compare the route, then confirm

Choose the sending token and network, amount, receiving token and destination network. Compare the quotes and estimated times, enter the receiving address, and select Connect Wallet. Clicking another exchange in the comparison changes the selected route. A Walletless Partner can instead supply a deposit-based swap.

On-chain routes let you set slippage tolerance, the permitted price change. Centralized routes execute at the market price when processed, without that control.

Fees and access

Platform charges are dynamic, quoted from $1 or generally 0.2% to 0.4%, with higher charges possible for some providers. The app displays the added platform fee below the swap form. Network and provider costs also matter.

RocketX's terms require adults acting for themselves and exclude the US, India, Singapore, sanctioned users and other prohibited jurisdictions. They also exclude politically exposed people and their close associates or family. Providers can hold transactions for identity or source-of-funds checks.

Refunds are conditional. Wrong networks, missing destination tags and exchange-account recipient addresses can prevent recovery. Use HELP in the app for a refund request and retain the original swap details. Crypto prices can change during a delayed transaction.

Add swaps to an application

RocketX offers an application programming interface, or API, and an embeddable swap widget. Its partner program includes fee sharing; Get Your API Key leads to partner onboarding.

Strengths

  • The comparison allows manual selection of an exchange route
  • An embeddable widget accompanies the partner API

Watch out for

  • The service restricts the US, India and Singapore, among other jurisdictions
  • Provider checks and refund conditions can delay or prevent completion

Best for

  • Eligible wallet users comparing routes across exchange types
  • Application teams adding cross-chain conversions
