What it does
ROIC AI supplies financial statements, ratios, earnings transcripts and daily market data through its website and application programming interface (API). The Free API tier supports five requests a minute and two years of history. Paid tiers expand request capacity and datasets.
Search a ticker on the website or open the endpoint guide for the dataset your application needs. ROIC AI groups statements and valuation metrics separately from prices, earnings and company identifiers. Its latest-price endpoint describes a daily quote, so it should not be mistaken for a live trading feed.
What each API tier adds
| Tier | Request capacity | Selected access |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Five a minute | Two years of annual financials |
| Individual | 300 a minute | Five years and quarterly statements |
| Professional | Listed as unlimited | Bulk retrieval and longer histories |
| Enterprise | Listed as unlimited | Commercial-use API and multiple users |
The Free plan excludes quarterly financials and bulk downloads. Enterprise is the tier advertising commercial use, so embedding data in a customer-facing product needs a separate licensing check.
Strengths
- Financial statements and transcripts share a documented API
- Separates company identifiers from financial and price endpoints
Watch out for
- Quarterly statements and bulk downloads are excluded from Free
- Commercial-use API rights are advertised under Enterprise
