Rotala Butterfly provides planted-aquarium calculators for nutrients, accumulation, carbon dioxide, light and volume.
Rotala Butterfly separates dosing to reach a target from calculating the result of a chosen dose. Select tank volume in US gallons or litres, the exact dry compound or premixed product, and dry dosing or a prepared solution. Solution inputs include container and dose volumes in mL; target concentration uses ppm, with addition units such as mg/g/mL or teaspoon/caps. The form accepts examples such as 1/8, 1.25 and decimal-comma 2,50, and offers automatic or 0–12 decimal-place rounding. Named EI/PPS/PMDD routes are different dosing modes. The retained Version 1.5.91 page labels itself evolving beta software; the arithmetic is a planning input rather than a guaranteed plant or tank outcome.
