What it does
RPGamer focuses on roleplaying games and publishes news, reviews and related features. Its current site separates material from its older archive.
For older RPGs, use the archive rather than assuming the main site has every review. RPGamer’s current site launched in 2018 and contains material since then plus selected older reviews; the rest remains at archive.rpgamer.com.
The publication says reviewers must complete a game before assigning a review score. Its coverage is broader than strict genre labels: adjacent action adventures can appear, and visual novels may sit in Adventure Corner.
