What it does

Rule provides newsletters, marketing automation and customer journeys with content based on readers' interests. A free account supports 250 contacts, segmentation and campaign reports. Paid subscriptions scale with the contact list, and extra staff users are charged separately.

Begin with the topics subscribers want. Journey Builder's preference function returns the subscriber's choices to Rule and uses them to adapt content. A membership publisher could offer separate subjects, then compose the newsletter around the selected interests rather than putting every announcement into every person's email.

The dynamic newsfeed can synchronize website stories into email content, while repeating campaigns run at a chosen interval. Together, those functions support a regular news section that does not need to be rebuilt from the same starting point each week. The editor provides separate desktop and mobile views for inspecting the presentation.

Rule Free provides a 250-contact starting capacity and newsletter, segmentation and reporting tools. Paid plans scale with contact volume and add support or other capabilities.

An administrator adds colleagues under Settings > Users > New user. Additional users cost SEK 55 per month; adding another administrator requires contacting support. For the first campaign, configure the sending domain's DNS records, import subscribers and set the shared Brand Style before preparing the email.
