What it does
SamCart provides digital-product checkout, order bumps, post-purchase offers, subscription recovery and course or membership hosting. Core and Pro are paid plans with a seven-day trial. Pro adds offer testing, the affiliate center and recovery tools that are absent from the Core plan.
Offers during and after checkout
An order bump lets a buyer add an item while placing the initial order. A one-click upsell appears after that sale and can be accepted without entering card details again. SamCart's Pro plan includes both, alongside A/B testing and Subscription Saver, which retries failed recurring charges.
Core includes one team seat, unlimited pages, products and checkouts, and the Courses App. Pro raises the seat allowance to ten and adds the developer API, an interface for custom software connections, and third-party payment processors. Both have monthly and annual billing options.
Connect SamPay
During account setup, select SamPay and provide the business details. Existing users can open Settings > Processors, choose + Add New and follow the setup prompts. SamPay uses a newly connected Stripe account; using an existing Stripe email does not merge its historical data into the new account. Availability follows Stripe's location restrictions, and payment processing still carries charges.
When closing the seller account
An active recurring subscription can keep billing through the connected Stripe account after SamCart closes unless it is cancelled first. Limited payment plans are handled differently and stop when the SamCart account closes. That distinction matters when moving a course or membership to another platform.
