What it does
Samsung Pass stores login credentials and uses biometric authentication to fill supported websites and apps on compatible Galaxy devices.
Samsung's current setup guide starts with the device: sign in to a Samsung account, configure a screen lock and register biometric data before storing logins. The route appears under passwords, passkeys and autofill in supported device settings. Check the apps used every day before moving credentials, because Samsung limits the service to Samsung Internet and other supported apps. Menus and availability also depend on the device and software version.
Strengths
- Credential storage and autofill linked to device biometrics
Watch out for
- Works with Samsung Internet and supported apps rather than every sign-in surface
Best for
- Galaxy users whose recurring apps support Samsung Pass
