What it does

Sans Writer is a browser-based writing canvas. The site says it uses a monochrome design and clean typography, with no toolbars, spelling corrections, or formatting distractions. It says words stay in the browser and disappear when you leave, and that there are no accounts, cloud storage, or tracking. A Start Writing button opens the writing space.

The homepage includes a Start Writing button and links to Cookies & Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. It also says the tool is for thinking before writing and for using before AI prompts.

Evidence

Sans Writer documents a simple browser writing canvas with no formatting tools and an explicit ephemeral-storage boundary: text disappears on leaving. That fully describes its focused drafting task; it is a writing aid used before AI prompts, not evidence of AI generation.

Limits: Source-researched AI assessment reviewed by a separate native AI worker. No hands-on product test or human verification is claimed.
