Sarah Raven

Sarah Raven offers a collection-led route when a gardener wants a group of plants rather than a single variety. Named tulip mixes and border collections sit alongside individual plants, with planters and other kit available separately. Indoor bulbs illustrate another useful distinction: a bare bulb, a bulb collection and a planted decorative container are different products. Begin with whether the purchase is for planting, a coordinated border or a ready-presented gift. Then inspect the collection contents and supply format before comparing it with individual varieties.

Sarah Raven’s plant guarantee depends on the classification. Fully hardy perennials, climbers, shrubs and trees have a lifetime guarantee with exclusions; other plants, bulbs and seeds use a one-growing-season promise. Claims need photographs of the plant and its growing position, followed by assessment. Weather damage, unsuitable watering or failure to follow planting instructions are excluded, so the guarantee is not a promise that every plant will thrive in every site.
