What it does
SAS Visual Analytics combines visual exploration, reporting and augmented analytics. It can add geographic context, investigate relationships and present interactive dashboards through the SAS Viya environment.
A geographic view can change a retail question. SAS Visual Analytics combines location and business data, so a store comparison can show regional patterns alongside individual branches. Interactive reports let readers filter the result for their own area.
The product can suggest relationships, identify unusual values or clusters, and support forecasting and scenario analysis. Reports can be embedded as live content or snapshots; APIs and software-development tools support integrating them into another application.
Report authors work in an authenticated SAS Viya environment with permissions assigned by its administrator. Those permissions distinguish people creating content from colleagues consuming shared reports.
The 14-day SAS Viya trial provides a private environment with guided exercises and preloaded data. It also permits a user's own data up to 1 GB. Commercial access is arranged through SAS's price-quote form, which lets the organization describe the software and deployment it needs.
