What it does

Scanz combines US stock scanners with news, filings, charts and watchlists. Its Data Scanner lets you combine price, volume, technical and company filters, then inspect matching stocks or export the results. Browser and mobile-web access are available, with desktop layouts and wider capacity on higher plans.

Scanz starts with a ready-made scanner or a custom scan. In Discover, choose a template and select Use template to make your own editable copy. For a new condition, use + Filter, select a metric and operator, then enter a value. Filters use AND logic, so every condition must pass; use separate scans for alternatives that need OR logic.

Click a result to open QuickView with its chart, news and trading data. Scan settings save automatically, and Actions > Duplicate keeps a variation alongside the original. On a full-width browser window, the download icon beside Columns exports the current results as CSV. It does not include the Activity Log.

Plan differences

Plan Monthly price Main limits and access
Starter $89 Browser and mobile web; one running scan; one saved scan of each type; one 20-symbol watchlist
Pro $199 Adds desktop access, multiple simultaneous scans, unlimited saves and watchlists, and custom layouts
Ultra $999 Pro features plus dedicated assistance, custom API access and automated data hooks

Real-time data and news are included. Starter and Pro offer a seven-day trial that requires a card and converts to a subscription at the end of day seven unless cancelled. To cancel, open the Scanz logo at the top left, choose Manage Subscription, then use the Subscription tab.

Scanz covers US equities. Its financial filters include revenue and debt, but it does not currently provide valuation-ratio filters such as price-to-earnings. The higher-tier application programming interface (API) serves custom data workflows rather than being part of Starter.

Strengths

  • Combines stock filters with news, filings and quick symbol inspection
  • Automatically saves scan changes and can duplicate variations
  • Exports the current results table with chosen columns

Watch out for

  • Data Scanner combines filters with AND logic only
  • Coverage is US equities, and valuation-ratio screening is unavailable
  • The seven-day trial requires a card and converts to a paid plan

Best for

  • Active US stock traders refining intraday watchlists
  • Researchers combining price activity with news and filings
