What it does
SCAYLE provides commerce, product management, checkout and order operations for retail brands. Its product hierarchy separates a style family, the product shown in the catalog and the specific variant that carries stock and price.
Displaying a sold-out item and allowing it to be purchased are separate decisions. SCAYLE can keep it in storefront results while it remains unavailable to buy. A separate variant setting allows sale without stock at a particular warehouse. Checkout still decides whether to accept the order.
For apparel, model the style as a master, colours as products and sizes as purchasable variants. Put size-specific stock and price on the variant. Master categories define the backend product structure and required attributes; shop categories organise the customer's assortment. Prepare both structures before loading the catalog.
SCAYLE Panel access uses registered user accounts. An administrator invites colleagues through Settings > User Management > Users > + Invite User and assigns the appropriate role. Accounts inactive for 90 days are automatically disabled and need reactivation. Discuss the intended storefronts, stock rules and connected order systems with SCAYLE when planning the implementation.
Strengths
- Stock visibility and purchase-without-stock are independently configurable
- The hierarchy separates shared style information from size-specific stock and price
Watch out for
- A visible sold-out product is not automatically purchasable
- Inactive Panel accounts are disabled after 90 days
Best for
- Retail teams implementing multi-variant catalogs and deliberate stock-display rules
