What it does
Schick Toikka sells retail type families and custom type design, with free demos for internal evaluation and client presentations. Desktop and web licences are one-off perpetual purchases. Other uses, including apps, video and larger brand applications, have separate terms.
The catalogue shows family structure alongside each release. Lateral and Items span several families, while Krana Fat has two styles. Trials offers limited-character files for evaluating those designs on any number of devices within the organisation; published work is excluded.
Desktop licences count devices. Web licences cover one registered domain and a monthly visitor allowance. A larger logo project needs extended desktop coverage when the organisation’s annual gross revenue exceeds EUR 5 million; social use also needs an extension above 25,000 combined followers on the channels using the font.
App licensing counts each platform version separately. Video Broadcasting is an annual renewable licence, while Corporate arrangements can combine several uses without time limits.
