What it does
Schism Tracker reimplements the Impulse Tracker music-making approach on modern systems.
It is relevant when keyboard-driven tracker entry and the feel of that older workflow are part of how you compose. The developer lists builds across several desktop systems rather than the original DOS-only environment. Reimplementation does not make every historical file or hardware assumption automatically identical.
