What it does
iOrnament repeats drawn marks and imported images through geometric symmetries. Its pattern tools include flat repeats, mandalas, spherical arrangements and hyperbolic designs.
An imported photograph can become part of the ornament, rather than sitting beneath it as a reference. Drag an image into the drawing, position it and apply symmetry. Brush settings, gradients and fills add drawn elements around the repeated image.
The geometry changes the composition: a flat repeat, a sphere and a hyperbolic circle distribute the motif differently. The Pro iPad app adds layers and post-editing of strokes and colour, with video and timelapse output for showing how a design developed.
The Pro download lists optional Ultra, Premium and Combo upgrades. Check those purchase options against the features you need.
