What it does

ScreensDesign is an app-reference library with full recordings and tagged screens. Its journeys cover onboarding, paywalls and the experience after purchase, with separate animation and web-onboarding resources. Pro also connects the library to AI assistants through MCP.

ScreensDesign’s chapter structure is useful when a design question continues beyond the first paywall. Open a full recording to follow onboarding, purchase and later features in the same app. Tagged screens provide a route to a particular moment, while categories and the Animation Explorer offer other ways to browse.

The MCP page explains how to connect a supported AI client, ask for a particular pattern and receive real screens or ordered flows. The setup page generates client configuration, and access uses a ScreensDesign account or scoped API key. This connection is included with Pro and has fair-use limits on request rates and data volume.

The site labels revenue and download figures as estimates. They add business context, but they do not establish that a particular interface caused an app’s results.

Choose Pricing for the available purchase options. The terms also describe a possible four-day access pass: it expires without automatic renewal unless checkout says otherwise. Check the duration and renewal terms attached to the option you buy. Screens and recordings remain reference material; the terms do not give general permission to republish third-party app content.

Strengths

  • Full recordings retain the context around individual screens
  • Journey chapters and tags support focused reference research
  • Pro can return real screens and flows to supported AI assistants

Watch out for

  • Revenue and download figures are estimates
  • AI access has rate and data-volume allowances
  • Third-party app content has reuse restrictions

Best for

  • Mobile-product designers investigating onboarding and monetization journeys
