What it does
Secrets by Outer Corner stores passwords, passkeys, card information and files on Apple devices, with iCloud sync and selected-record sharing.
Secrets is built around an iPhone, iPad and Mac workflow. It syncs through iCloud and can fill logins through the browser extension or Apple's Password AutoFill. The same vault can hold a card record or another confidential item. For a family, start with a shared login and decide which records belong in a shared space. The product also lists imports from other managers, which is useful when replacing an existing vault. Its Apple-platform scope is a real selection constraint for anyone who also needs a Windows or Android client.
Strengths
- iCloud syncing across supported Apple devices
- Selected-record sharing and imports
Watch out for
- The official product lists macOS, iOS and iPadOS rather than Windows or Android clients
Best for
- Households using Apple devices
