What it does
SeerBit provides online payment methods, point-of-sale acceptance and a shared view of in-store and digital transactions. Merchants can collect through hosted links or connect their own checkout. Fees vary by country and payment method, and live processing requires business approval.
A SeerBit payment link can be created ahead of a sale and shared through a message, social profile or invoice. Set its name and currency, choose the customer details to collect, and decide whether the amount is fixed or entered by the payer. An expiry date and single-payment setting can restrict its use. The customer pays on the hosted page, and each successful payment appears in the merchant dashboard.
The software interface, or API, returns both a shareable address and a link identifier. Use the identifier to manage the link; reconcile reusable links against each transaction's reference because one link can produce many payments. For a cart with a known buyer and total, Standard Checkout instead creates an address for that particular purchase.
Nigerian fees and settlement
The Nigeria price schedule lists 1.5% for local payment methods, with local-card fees capped at NGN2,000, and 4.8% for international cards. Enterprise volumes can receive custom pricing. Other country schedules differ.
Naira collections normally settle automatically to the merchant bank account on the next working day, after charges. The international-payment schedule for Nigeria is five days, and USD settlement requires a United Bank for Africa domiciliary account. Business country and industry can affect availability.
Upload the requested business-verification documents before switching to live use. Once approved, replace test keys with live keys from Settings > API Keys. Before fulfilling an order, the application should check the payment's status, amount and currency on the server; a pending result or browser return alone is insufficient.
