What it does

Sendloop supports designed newsletters, RSS-to-email updates, automated sequences and transactional messages. Plans include unlimited subscribers and lists, while monthly message capacity determines when sending pauses. A free account allows 100 emails per month.

Sendloop offers two different recurring publication patterns. An RSS source can produce updates as new content appears, while a sequence follows a subscriber through a prepared set of messages. A community publication might use RSS for its news and a separate welcome sequence to explain how new readers can contribute. The two streams can serve the same readers on different schedules.

The visual builder creates the messages, and custom audience attributes and segments decide which readers should receive a campaign. API and webhook connections provide an additional route for events from other tools. Reporting then records the resulting campaign activity.

Sendloop's standard plans do not charge by the number of stored subscribers or lists. They allocate monthly email volume, include journeys and transactional mail, and pause sending when that allowance is reached. News updates, welcome messages and receipts all consume that allowance. Free includes 100 emails per month, so it suits setup and a very small audience. Registration asks for a name, work email, password, company name and sending domain; domains can be changed later.

Strengths

  • RSS campaigns and subscriber sequences support distinct recurring publications
  • Unlimited subscriber and list storage is included across the standard plans

Watch out for

  • Sending pauses when the plan's monthly email allowance is reached
  • The continuing Free plan has a very small monthly sending allowance

Best for

  • Publishers planning several email streams against one monthly volume budget
