What it does
SendOwl sells digital products through payment links, embedded checkout and storefront pages, then delivers the purchased files. It also supports bundles, subscriptions, scheduled content and license keys. Sellers connect their own payment gateway and pay a subscription based on order volume, sales and download bandwidth.
SendOwl is useful when your audience already finds you through a website, newsletter or social page and you need the purchase and delivery step. Create the product, connect a payment gateway and complete the company details before trying to share its checkout.
Gateway controls are in Settings > Payment gateways > Gateway configuration. Stripe and PayPal are supported, separately or together. The PayPal connection requires application credentials from the seller's PayPal Developer Dashboard; it is more than entering a PayPal email address. Gateway availability, verification and processing charges depend on the seller's account and location.
To get a shareable link, open Products, find the item and click Sell. Under the SendOwl 2.0 options, choose Payment Link. Copy Link provides the address and Preview opens the payment page. The link appears only after the required gateway and company details are complete. Some accounts also need billing-card details before selling is unlocked.
The current 2.0 payment-link checkout does not display your logo or custom checkout CSS. If that branding control matters, compare the other checkout options before distributing the link.
All plans include the feature set and API access. Current monthly tiers are:

Annual discounts and higher-volume plans are offered. Rolling sales or order totals above a limit trigger an upgrade; lower totals prompt an optional downgrade.
SendOwl does not take a percentage of current-plan sales. You still pay the gateway's charges and, on standard plans, $1 per GB above the monthly download allowance. Storage and bandwidth are different: unlimited stored products do not mean unlimited downloads by total data size. The free trial has restrictions, including limits on free orders.

- The 2.0 payment-link checkout omits the seller's logo and custom checkout CSS.
- Exceeding rolling sales or order limits triggers a plan upgrade.
- Large download volumes can incur bandwidth overage charges.
