What it does
SensusAccess is a self-service alternate-media and document-remediation service for educational institutions. Outputs include audio, DAISY, EPUB, digital Braille, and large print.
Choose the reading need before selecting an output: an audio book, reflowable ebook, and ready-to-emboss Braille file serve different users. The service also accepts inaccessible sources such as image-only PDFs and presentation files for remediation. A converted document still needs suitable review for its intended reader; the range of outputs is not evidence that every source becomes equally usable.
The public conversion form is offered for demonstration and evaluation. Institutions using SensusAccess as an official accommodation, including organized student instruction, need a service agreement. The licence also prohibits resale of output and institutional use without that agreement. Its separate Remediator and SensusComply offerings should not be read as included in the self-service alternate-format converter.
