What it does
Serpstat combines keyword and competitor research, site audits, keyword clustering and rank tracking. It also supplies an API and datasets for teams building their own search reports.
Serpstat brings keyword research, competitor analysis, site audits and rank tracking into one account. Keyword clustering groups related queries before pages are assigned, and the selected terms can then be followed in a tracking project.
The lasting free account is quite limited: ten searches for sites, keywords or links per day, plus ten pages to audit. The seven-day paid-plan trial is different. It requires a card and automatically becomes a paid subscription unless renewal is cancelled.
On the annual billing option, Individual is USD 50 per month and Team is USD 100 per month. Individual includes five projects, 100 daily searches, 30,000 monthly audit pages and 50,000 monthly export rows. Team permits unlimited projects and adds collaboration, JavaScript rendering and an API for using the data in other software.
Individual's missing JavaScript rendering matters for websites whose content loads through scripts. A larger page allowance alone does not solve that requirement. Team and higher plans also add scheduled reporting and larger exports for agency work.
Strengths
- Clustering can organize keyword research before page planning.
- Official API offerings support custom reporting workflows.
Watch out for
- Individual excludes JavaScript rendering and API access
- The seven-day trial requires a card and renews automatically unless cancelled
- Free access is limited to ten daily searches and ten audit pages
Best for
- SEO teams combining keyword planning with ongoing audits and tracking
