What it does
Sesterce tracks shared expenses and calculates member balances on web, iOS and Android. Groups can use a shared identifier and optional password without individual accounts. Free tools include custom categories and CSV export; paid upgrades add attachments, recurring transactions and PDF export.
Invite the group without collecting email addresses
Choose New group, enter its name and members, select the default currency and create it. From the transaction list, Share → share online produces a group identifier and offers password protection. Others use Join a group with that identifier and password. Sesterce warns that anyone with an unprotected group's identifier can access it.
Members can review category statistics and choose how many shares of an expense each person owes. CSV export gives everyone a spreadsheet copy of the group's expenses.

Premium includes photos, recurring transactions, notifications, additional search filters, change history and PDF export. It can be bought through iOS or Android, with monthly and one-time options. The US iOS store lists a 30-day Premium purchase for US$1.99; other offers cover different scopes and durations.
Record repayments after they happen
Select a suggested repayment and choose Mark as reimbursed, or add a transfer between members. Sesterce then recalculates the remaining suggestions, so who pays whom may change after the first repayment.
If a Premium subscription ends, existing pictures remain viewable and existing recurring transactions continue, but new ones cannot be added.
