What it does

SFirm brings business accounts from several banks into one Windows application for payment planning and account records. Payments can wait in a transmission pool for review and release. Star Finanz still displays a notice suspending new direct purchases and subscriptions, while existing installations remain usable.

Prepare and review a payment batch

Choose the accounts included in planning, then distinguish booked balances from value-dated balances. Group payments by account, originator or folder and hold them in the transmission pool until they are ready. Separate approval by a second person supports a review before release.

HBCI/FinTS and EBICS are bank-communication standards. Their availability depends on the edition and the bank's support. The EBICS-Unterschriftenmappe folder handles payment signatures; supported editions can also use the Finanzcockpit companion app. Account records and payment reports can be printed or saved as PDF.

Editions and published prices

Edition Monthly price, including VAT and maintenance Main distinction
Basic €39.99 HBCI/FinTS and SEPA transfers
Medium €69.99 Adds direct debits, EBICS and domestic cash management
Premium €99.99 Adds international payments and separate company databases
Supreme €139.99 Adds international cash management and trade-credit functions

Direct subscriptions renew monthly and require cancellation at least five days before the billing period ends. A 60-day trial is advertised.

The vendor's service notice says new direct purchases and subscriptions are suspended because of its external payment processor. Bank-supplied editions and their installation files come from the relevant Sparkasse or Landesbank.

SFirm runs on supported Windows systems. Native macOS and Linux installations are not supported.
