What it does
SFTPGo provides managed transfer through SFTP, FTP/S and WebDAV, with virtual folders, quotas, automation, web clients and an administration API.
Assign a local path or cloud bucket to a user’s virtual folder, with its own permissions and quota. SFTPGo can react to uploads by routing files, applying PGP or notifying another system; its browser client also creates external links protected by password or selected-email authentication, expiry and download limits. Choose SaaS or on-premises operation before provisioning users. The SaaS offer has a ten-day trial, and its monthly bandwidth quota counts outbound downloads while uploads are unmetered. WebAdmin can export users, groups, folders and configuration between installations; that export is not described as a migration of the file contents.
