What it does

ShippingEasy imports shop and marketplace orders, applies shipping rules and prepares labels. ConnectEasy can send labels to a printer, and paid plans add unlimited store connections, CSV uploads and branded tracking. Its free Starter plan allows 25 shipments per month from up to three stores.

ShippingEasy organizes dispatch around imported orders and repeatable rules. ConnectEasy sends labels directly to a printer, while the Customer Marketing offering provides optional email tools alongside shipping. Paid plans add CSV imports, branded tracking and reporting.

Build a rule for incoming orders

Open Settings > Shipping Rules, choose Add New Rule and give it a descriptive name. Set the IF conditions and THEN actions, such as assigning a ship-from address or shipping preset. All conditions must match. Keep Send to Orders page selected when an order should remain pending, then save.

Rules can instead purchase and print a label automatically through InstantLabel. A rule that creates the shipment stops later rules from running, so its position matters. New or edited rules affect future orders; existing orders need the separate rerun command. The guide allows up to 30 rules.

Shipment allowances

Plan Monthly shipment allowance
Starter 25, with free software access
Growth 200
Basic 500
Plus 1,500
Select 3,000
Premium 6,000
Enterprise 10,000

Starter connects three stores or marketplaces; paid plans allow unlimited connections. Postage and selected services are additional to software charges. A paid-plan trial lasts 30 days and converts to monthly billing if the account continues beyond the trial.

Using an existing carrier contract requires the Bring Your Own Carrier add-on and its extra monthly fee. Enable it through Account Settings > Subscriptions & Billing, review the charge, then connect the carrier. The add-on is unavailable on Legacy Starter plans, which differ from the current free Starter offer.

Strengths

  • Shipping rules can set order details before labels are purchased
  • ConnectEasy directs labels to a printer
  • Paid plans combine unlimited store connections with branded tracking

Watch out for

  • New rule changes do not automatically update existing orders
  • Using negotiated rates from an existing carrier account adds a fee

Best for

  • Small shops and multichannel merchants standardizing label and dispatch routines
