What it does

ShootQ manages photography leads, booked jobs, contacts and studio administration. Lead workflows assign staff tasks, emails and questionnaires by job type and sales stage. Four paid packages offer different user and brand limits, with a 14-day trial that starts without payment-card details.

Build a ShootQ Lead Workflow under Settings, Workflow & Automation and associate it with the relevant job types. A portrait inquiry entered manually or through the contact form can then receive the intended workflow automatically. Add tasks to its sales stages and assign the studio member responsible.

Timing can follow a stage or a task. An email can be scheduled after entering New Lead, while a questionnaire can follow completion of a consultation task. Choose the recipient and template explicitly before Save and Activate.

Editing the template changes future leads; it does not revise workflows already assigned. Changes on one job likewise stay with that job. Replacing its workflow deletes the previous tasks and automations, so inspect pending work before switching.

Studio access

Plan Included users Included brands Scope
Booking Only 1 1 Contracts and invoicing
Essential 3 1 Adds workflows, forms, questionnaires and proposals
Studio 6 3 More users and brands

Plans can be paid monthly or annually. Extra users, brands and the Booking Module can add charges. The pricing page's trial signup creates the ShootQ account; it lasts fourteen days and needs no card.

Strengths

  • Job types can select the appropriate lead workflow automatically
  • Messages can follow a sales stage or an individual task's timing

Watch out for

  • Template edits do not update workflows already assigned to leads
  • Switching a job's workflow deletes its previous tasks and automations

Best for

  • Photography studios assigning inquiry follow-up across several session types
