What it does

SHOPLINE combines an online store, checkout, inventory, customer records and connected sales channels. Merchants can tailor products, prices, languages and fulfilment by market. Store management uses an admin account; monthly or annual subscriptions follow a 14-day card-free trial.

A new market needs decisions about the catalogue and fulfilment as well as language. In the admin, open Markets > Create a market, enter a name and use Add country/region. Select the countries, click Complete, then Create. Open the resulting market to set products, prices, domains, languages and inventory locations.

Shipping methods inherit the store's shipping settings. The market's Payments section chooses the checkout currency; changing payment methods happens in the store's payment settings.

Markets are active when created. Use Preview and choose a language to inspect the storefront. Deactivating a market prevents new purchases there while preserving existing orders.

The primary market is assigned from store settings and cannot be directly changed or deleted. The default store currency becomes fixed once orders exist; additional markets provide localized selling without changing that currency.

Annual plans are available. Payment-processing charges are separate, and POS and Shopper App purchases add to the store subscription. The 14-day trial does not require a card.

Strengths

  • Markets connect regional products and pricing with fulfilment locations
  • A market can be previewed or temporarily deactivated without removing existing orders

Watch out for

  • The default store currency cannot change after orders have been placed
  • Third-party transaction fees and additional channel costs affect the total bill

Best for

  • Retailers coordinating regional storefronts and connected sales channels
