What it does
Pimoroni sells Raspberry Pi, Pico and other maker boards, displays, sensors, components and tools. The shop connects product families with separate learning material and community forums.
Pimoroni's board-family navigation is more useful than starting with every component at once. A Pico project, a Raspberry Pi accessory and a Feather-compatible board have different shopping routes. Breakouts are also grouped by format, including Qw/ST, while displays, environmental sensors and robotics provide function-based entrances. Begin with the board family already chosen, then investigate the relevant component format and its product documentation. The learning site and forums offer a further research path when the part name alone does not explain how it belongs in a project.
Set the destination before comparing displayed prices. Pimoroni says the location setting adjusts currency and taxes so the checkout total includes what is due on delivery. That price view is separate from checking whether a breakout, power requirement or connector suits your board.
