What it does
Sidetracked is an English-language magazine about adventure, expeditions and exploration. Its official site publishes features, a field journal and conversations with people undertaking outdoor journeys.
An expedition feature can reveal the decisions and risks behind an appealing image. Read a journey feature in the context of its named contributors; planning a similar route calls for current local and technical information. Field Journal provides current entries alongside the magazine. The newsletter is described as one email per week.
