What it does

SimpleKPI combines connected or manually entered KPI data, targets, dashboards, reports and analytical assistants. Pulse flags changes, while Explore supports deeper investigation and forecasting around a selected measure.

SimpleKPI combines entered, imported or connected measures with targets and recurring reports. Calculated KPIs can use formulas over existing measures; red, amber and green status follows the chosen targets.

For a management update, start with Executive KPI Summary, Targets & Goal Progress or Performance Trends. Choose the KPIs, add commentary and adjust the sections in Report Builder. The report's header sets one date range and comparison window for every section. Status cards can show missing updates, while the off-track section lists measures below target.

Export the result to PDF, share a live link or schedule email delivery with recipients, cadence and send time. Each view, export or scheduled send queries the current data. Public report links do not require a recipient login; creating and managing reports uses a SimpleKPI account.

Access costs USD 79 per month billed monthly, or USD 758 per year billed annually. Users, dashboards, reports, KPIs, connections and the developer API are included. Signup begins with a work email and a 14-day no-card trial. Pulse and Explore add change analysis and forecasting; their industry benchmarks are AI estimates.

Strengths

  • Combines KPI targets, calculated measures and recurring reporting.
  • The current flat subscription includes unlimited users and no separate AI-credit meter.

Watch out for

  • AI-estimated industry benchmarks are indicative comparisons rather than a measured peer dataset.

Best for

  • Business teams maintaining explicit measures and targets across recurring reviews
