What it does

SimpleSwap converts supported crypto pairs and sends the result to a wallet address. Most crypto swaps need no account, while trading costs are built into the quote. Access is restricted in many countries, including the US, UK, India, China, Japan, Slovenia and other EU countries.

SimpleSwap separates the recipient address from the deposit address. The first receives the output asset; the second is where the input amount goes for that exchange. Select the pair, enter the receiving address, and send the stated deposit. Finished marks the end of the swap process.

An Exchange ID identifies the order for tracking and support. If an exchange reaches Verifying, support may request identity or funding information. An account-free swap is not exempt from those checks.

Rate choice and cost

Fixed rates last 20 minutes and require the deposit to receive a blockchain confirmation within that window. A late deposit may lead to a refund or a new-rate offer. Floating rates follow the market during processing, so the receipt can be smaller than the estimate.

SimpleSwap includes a variable service charge in its quote. For fixed swaps, the receiving-side network cost is included; the sending wallet’s network charge is separate. The form shows the applicable minimum.

Who can use it

Users must be 18 or older, or meet a higher local contracting age. The terms exclude a long list of locations and certain restricted or politically exposed persons. This limits access even though registration is optional.

The optional verification route uses a government ID and live selfie. In account settings, KYC → Update my info changes verification details. Fiat purchases follow a separate provider checkout, with the provider’s own payment and identity requirements.

Strengths

  • Separate deposit instructions and receiving-wallet destination
  • Each exchange has a tracking identifier
  • Optional identity verification has a dedicated update control

Watch out for

  • The fixed-rate window includes blockchain confirmation time
  • Many jurisdictions, including Slovenia, are restricted
  • A swap can enter verification before it completes

Best for

  • Eligible wallet holders comparing a fixed receipt with a floating exchange estimate
