Simuveliq

Simuveliq's free, no-account mechanics, control and electronics tools show formulas and substituted values in SI or US customary units. Its beam model accepts supports, point/distributed loads and moments, with material/section controls and force, deflection and stress diagrams. In the published SI form, span is in m, E in GPa, section dimensions in mm and distributed loads in kN/m; positive vertical distributed load acts downward. Editing a standard-section dimension switches from manufacturer-table properties to geometric calculation. The beam assumptions are Euler–Bernoulli theory, constant section/material, small deflections and elastic stresses. Detailed working and downloadable reports support learning; the site describes graphical editors as easier on a computer.
